LOS PORTALES SCREWED ME OVER

I moved in to Los Portales Apartments August 12th, 2007.
Take the tour of the apartment everything seemed to be okay.
The carpet was dull and needed to be vaccumed and had some sort of paint spots.
I didnt mind it because I wanted the apartment to much.
I let that slid.
Then a week later, I went into the master bedroom in the 2 bedroom apartment.
And noticed carpet was soak and wet.
I then call the front office that day and talked to a young lady and told her that I had a leak and its bad.
She said they would send someone out that day.
No one ever came.
To make this LONG HETIC CRAZY STORY SHORT.
The leak didnt get fixed till the day that I went to the office to break my lease.
I moved out October 9th, 2007 And they are making me pay the remainder of the lease until someone moves in.
Also this leak caused my electric bill to rise.
from a bill that usually cost 60 bucks to $256 I still plan on taking them to court.
For all fees I am paying them so that it dont go to collections.
