Meadow West

 

This place was AWFUL.

At first, we loved the location and the complex.

It is a small complex, which is a benefit.

However, we had numerous problems.

Bugs: HUGE sewer roaches were seen outside many occasions.

My roommate and I used the pool once and came in to find we had been bitten by some sort of water mite.

There were bites ALL over us.

Weirdos: The on-site manager is never there, but her husband is.

He seems a nice enough guy, but he's always drunk and doesn't ever do anything but ogle the female residents.

Holes: We had a weird paint bubble in our bathroom above the tub.

My roommate merely touched it, and the paint ripped open spilling nasty water into the tub.

Gross, right' So we had to take showers elsewhere because nasty water kept leaking from upstairs.

Told management.

Months later, not fixed.

In fact, the ceiling started caving in until we heard a crash and the entire ceiling above the tub caved in.

Leak from usptairs apartment wasn't fixed, they just put new drywall (we had to live with that hole for 6 months).

Appliances: 1st Refrigerator's freezer didn't freeze, but fridge did.

2nd Fridge leaked condensation and water ALL over the floor.

3rd fridge smelled like something dead was kept in it (they even threw in a couple of dryer sheets to make it smell better,whatever).

Swamp cooler' Yeah right.

Ours didn't work, we called MANY MANY times and drunk manager kept saying it was working.

No, I've had swamp cooling before, this one definitely was broken.

DON'T move to Meadow West.

Live elsewhere.
