This use to be the best place in town. I love the landscape and location. Parking has always been a bit limited but the environment and options are great. However, this past year has been the worst yet. We have had more trouble with our vehicles being damaged and attempted break ins. We were offered "upgrades". when we renewed our lease. These upgrades included lesser quality carpet, lesser quality linoleum, lesser quality dish washer and lesser quality washing machine than what was in the apartment for the first 5 years. Maintenance is always great about coming to repair items, but if better quality materials where in place maintenace would be need to be called on a regular basis. Our heater and A/C have never worked well, so we have very high utility bills. Office staff has has a high turn over this past year and the quality of the people moving in is greatly reduced. As if requirements for renting here are less stringent. We had to call the police a couple of times this past year, and we had to increase our insurance to cover items that in the past where never an issue. We have had troublesome neighbors, increased number of tenants using drugs, and a high turn over in the number of security guards to watch at the main entrance. It is still a nice place in appearance, but it is not at all the same quality it was in the past. Not for the price you pay to live here.
