This is so not the place you want to live! My husband and I only ended up here because it was affordable and the apartment we were shown seemed pretty nice for the price. Before we moved in the staff was friendly and helpful. This started going wrong from the momment my husband went to get the keys the day we were SUPPOSED to be moving in, basically the staff was like "oh, were you moving in today'"; that was a Wednesday. Needless to say this did not inspire confidence. We told them that it was absolutely vital that our apartment be ready on Wednesday. We ended up moving in late Friday night; made all the worse because our wedding was that Saturday - I kid you not - and we were moving in because the home we had been in the process of buying fell through at the last minute. No one should have to postpone their honeymoon plans because the staff just forgot about you moving in. Once we moved in, things just got worse. The AC leaks horribly and has soaked the entire hallway outside our bedroom repetedly and their attempts at fixing it have been half-hearted at best. I swear if they try to charge us for this carpet, but of course I'm sure they will. Although, it's so not our fault that it started leaking over a weekend and the maitenance man doesn't work weekends so they decided to wait until monday to fix it. Yeah, that was a fun weekend; I lost some very nice towels and had two damp unhappy kitties, not to mention what fun it was having to wade my way to and from the bedroom. Oh God, the smell! I couldn't even sleep in the bedroom because I couldn't breathe and the damp, dank, and musty odor caused my allergies and asthma to nearly choke me everytime I went near the hallway. I do not have any hope that either the leak in the kitchen sink or the one in the bathroom will ever actually get fixed. Do not get me started on the leaking toilet or shower. The walls and floors are so thin that you can actually hear and understand the people in the other apartments. The cable set-up in a joke! The cable for our neighbors goes through our front closet and right across our front doorway, we had to have the cable company put in new cable outlets in the badrooms (there weren't any). There's only one phone jack and that's in the kitchen; like that's what the already tiny kitchen with extremely limited counterspace needs. The waterheater is actually in one of the bedroom closets, which I'm constantly praying doesn't join everything else and start leaking. That closet also has an access panel for the water pipes under the building that's is just a piece of plywood screwed (with stripped screws) into the wall, needless to say there are suspicious droppings in that closet. The staff never wants to fix anything, oh they say they will but never actually come by until you've had to complain repetedly. The outside lighting, what little there is, is always going out. I don't feel safe here, and we are planning on moving once our lease is up. The locks on the windows aren't that great, the screens are bent and falling off. The bugs are impossible to get rid of; once you think you've gotten them, it's only a couple days until they start reappearing. I absolutely HATE bugs, and to have a roach run across my foot when I came through the door one night was just about the last straw. The final nail in the place's coffin (I think this place should be given a decent burial courtesy of a wreaking ball) is that while I can't prove anything I have noticed small personal items seem to be missing. I can tell you the maitenance man gives me the creeps, for example his cellphone ring is a woman screaming, and it is so not a good scream. Unless totally impossible I will not let him in while I'm alone. Do yourself, and those who care about you, do not live here.
