I moved into Mtn Village on 3/16/06 into a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apt, this being my 3 apartment overall. I just renewed my lease for another 12 months on March, I really like this place, theres a lot of great things about this complex I was not expecting when I first saw it on the Apartment Guide, but when I stoped by the 1st time I was very impressed first of all by the rents keeping in mind the location, minutes away from both the Tucson Mall and Foothills mall, really nice and classy resaurants, freeway and the mountain view you get from here is just unveliable, I fell in love with it, call it love at first sight :) I've had a few things that broke in my apartment just like it could happen everywhere else, but the maintenance person took care of them right away, less than 48 hours and usually the same day, he es very knowledgable and he is so young! I believe he is only 22 or 23 somewhere around there he told me but Im not sure. He is very professional, he comunicates very well, he takes the time to explain the situation to me, due to my lack of knowledge :D his motto is and I quote " if I cannot fix it myself I'll call someone to help me fix it, and if we cannot fix it we'll replace it", that right there made me feel very comfortable, somewhere I havent heard before. I cannot tell much of the cleaning lady, havent talked to her much but she seems very friendly, she says hi everytime I see her. We just had a new manager not too long ago, I heard the former one got promoted to a bigger complex or something like that, she was very nice and helpful when I first moved in, explaining all the rules and regulations, late fees and the "whole enchilada", but the new one we have is not bad at all, you can tell shes got plenty of experience, she knows her stuff, very confident, a "by the book" type of manager, which is a good thing. I also like Mtn Village because its so so so close to my work, I literally can walk to work everyday!!! I like the neighborhood. The surroundings are very nice, the landscaping looks nice and clean all the time, I have no problems with the parking, right outside my apartment, very convinient because Im a little lazy most of the time, I dont like walking too much. About the noise, well, theres nothing to talk about, its very quiet, I like it, I can just step out on my balcony and enjoy the view with no disturbances. Overall I would really recommend this complex, I dont know if I would ever move out of my apartment, unless someone offered me another one for free! but untill then I think Im just gonna stay here :) Thank you.
