I actually rented an apartment at Jefferson Commons the year it was built (quite a while ago already). When my roommate and I moved into our place in was brand spanking new, but we quickly noticed how poorly the place was constructed. By the end of year one, most of the apartments were falling apart. The walls and floors are incredibly thin so you can hear pretty much everything. I remember many parties around that pool which were a lot of fun. It's student housing, so you have to know what you are signing up for. It's going to be noisy and obnoxious at times, but that's what happens when you get a bunch of kids together with a keg. I can't say it was my favorite Tucson residence (that is reserved for La Entrada), but it was what it was...basically a crap hole with a ton of kids and a bunch of parties.
