Yo!

I would NOT recommend moving here!

Do NOT let the first impression of this place fool you. It appears serene and quiet and clean from the outside. The truth is that there are apparently SEVERAL apartments that have late night parties, etc. There have been times when the neighbor on other side of my wall played VERY loud music until nearly 6am! Their dog barks continuously sometimes. One of the first things I noticed and no one else on here has mentioned it, is that the walls are paper thin! I mean you can hear almost every word your neighbor is saying. That is in typical conversation, NOT yelling. I get to hear their most intimate moments, if you can call it that. You do get the feeling at times that you are living in a low class motel that rents by the hour. I thought I was moving into a classy place, but wound up in the "ghetto" as another person on here put it. I could go on forever, but some things include the fact that the managers tried VERY hard to get me to sign a lease and seal the deal without even seeing an apartment especially my own. I asked to view my apartment before signing the lease and was made to feel that I had asked for an unreasonable thing. I did get to see it, but of course things like thin walls, poor dishwasher, poor clothes dryer and stove don't show up on a walkthrough. That shows up after you've moved in and start using them. The website says that leases start at 7 months and longer. When signing, I was informed that it is now 10 months. I mentioned the website said 7 months and was cutoff before even finishing my sentence by the manager and was quoted word for word a quote that is on the website, which is " Prices and availability subject to change without notice." I don't see how that covered the difference in leasing times, but I knew better than to ask. Unfortantely because I had already been through a week long process to get moved in and didn't have time to find another place. I wish I had made time now. There have been MANY problems with appliances since I got here. Almost every one of them. The stove and the dryer are so old that I fully expected to have to cut firewood in order to use the stove. Ok, I'm exaggerating a little, but not much. It has to be a 1970 something model. Same thing for the dryer that takes 3 attempts before it dries clothes. The dishwasher washes half of the dishes on a good day. The rest look they haven't even been washed. I could write twice this amount about problems, but you get the point. If you move in here after reading mine and other people's stories on here, then it's YOUR OWN FAULT! I wish I had seen these reviews before moving in here. This website was found accidentally today!
