RIDICULOUS!!!

These apartments SUCK! You'd be ill advised to even consider these apartments as your home. Unless of course you like holes in your walls, broken stuff in your apartment, leaky walls for months on end, and of course, don't like swimming and sure as hell don't like to enjoy a "HOT" tub from time to time.

The maintenance staff is totally incompetent to completing any job even somewhat satisfactorily. A friend of mine lives here as well with her roommate and her two year old son and just recently, she found mold in her bedroom near the head of her bed. Mold is dangerous, especially to infants, and MOST especially to infants who sleep with their head merely a few feet from the mold every night. When the mold was discovered, immediate complaints were filed in the office but it took at least a week before anyone came out to physically address the problem. When someone was finally sent out to "fix" the mold problem, they merely wiped down the wall with bleach to mask the underlying problem. Give it a few months and I'm sure the mold will return on the surface. That is proof of the managements lack of concern for their residents.

Which reminds me of another situation which was not just one apartment, not even just one building, but it affected the ENTIRE COMPLEX!!! A water line broke underground near the front of the complex and ultimately shut down water for the entire complex for SIX days! You know how disgusting you smell and feel after six days without showering' Hopefully you have friends near by that are willing to let you come shower at their place for a week cus heaven knows the management is too cheap to rent complimentary hotel rooms for their residents in such a time of dire need. Oh wait, they did do that but the hotel was on the opposite side of town, at least a 30 minute drive away, and the only way you would know about it is if you went in and asked about it. That to me seems like something that should be posted somewhere or maybe even fliers on apartment doors, or hell maybe even a simple phone call might work. This to me makes absolutely no sense to attain hotel rooms on the other side of town when there are three hotels just up the street on Oracle.

Let me give you an example of the managements ignorance. The manager calls some fly-by-night company to resurface our pool and gets totally foiled by the aforementioned company. The manager said he paid this company $12,000 up front for the completion of the entire resurfacing job. You don't have to have a doctorate in business management to know you don't pay the entire ammount for manual labor up front. So guess what happened......the oh so wonderful company did half of the job and wasn't seen again for almost two months, leaving our pool and "hot" tub out of commission the entire time. Well I guess there is a plus side to this story, the whole renovation of the pool is making people better swimmers. How, you ask' The resurfacing job was done so poorly, and in such a hurry that it wasn't sanded properly or adequitly, leaving it very uncomfortable to walk on, and in turn, making better swimmers of Oracle Village residents.
