I just wanted to take the time to inform anyone who reads this, DO NOT move into Oracle Village or any other apartment that is ran by HSL properties! We have recently moved out (the happiest day of my life) and I spent six hours cleaning our apartment so I could get most of my deposit back.

I did not clean the oven and the carpet had a few stains on it, most were because the carpet is so cheap that when you walk on it the dirt just rises to the surface.

Well after I took a day off work and spent all that time clean my boyfriend called a few days later to see how much of our deposit we would be getting back.

The manager told us that we owed them 680 dollars, and that was already including our deposit.

SO she was saying our move out cost total 980 dollars.

I called her back and asked her to explain to me how the F---I owed them anything after all the problems we had with the apartment which if you read anyone of the other reviews we had the same problems as all of them! She continued to tell me that out 300 refundable deposit had been put towards the bill which was 150 for pet and 150 for security.

Then she told me that the other half of the pet and security deposit that was 300 dollars non-refundable were just few so my dog could move in and for us to move in.

So it cost us 300 dollars just to move into a crappy apartment that looks nice on the outside and was really just a nightmare to live in.

If it hadn't been for the great people living around us I would have went out of my mind! NOT to mention when we moved in we were told that the non refundable deposit goes towards move out cost! Anyways I told her that was not correct and I would be contacting HSL properties to get the matter settled and I would not be paying anything.

She said good luck and if we did not pay she would send us to collections.

I called HSL properties 3 times and left messages with the District Manager of Oracle Village and she never returned my calls.

So my boyfriend finally called HSL and had to demand to speak with someone and they finally put him through to the vice president, who said he would take care of the problem.

As far as I know he told us they would use the nonrefundable deposit toward our bill but in the end we would end up owing 80 dollars.

I finally said fine and agreed to pay just to have it be done with.

It just amazes me that they can get away with things like that.

There apartments are over priced the office management is horrible, and there units are average.

If you move into Oracle Village, I m sorry you made a very bad choice, and I m sure that choice was mostly based on lies told to you by the management and the look on the outside.

OH and just to let you know my old apartment was flipped in a day! Which means they did not re clean the apartment which I though was standard no matter how clean I left it, and the new tenets I found out form a friend found bird poop on the blinds that I couldn t reach from when a bird flew into our house! Haha .

Start counting down the days until you lease is up!

After my friend/ old neighbor told me she was writing this I felt I needed to give more , when they took out her carpet the smell of pee was sooooo gross. Anytime we were invited to there apartment we were alittle grossed out by the pee that was all over the carpet from there cat and dog. They are very nice, but it amazing me after hearing her go, on and on how people can't take responsiblity for what they do. Good luck to my old neighbor and her animals
