Good enough that I came back

I lived at Palm Shaodws previously, but then moved to what I had thought was a nicer complex (North Pointe), but I was seriously mistaken. I was thrilled to see that Jim, the maintence guy, was still there as he's really nice and very helpful. He always takes care of maintence requests in a timely manner (usually 24 hours; no more than 48 unless equipment has to be ordered) and greets the residents when he sees them around the complex. The lady in the office (I wish I remembered her name!) was always sweet and helpful and made sure the residents were well taken care of.
I lived in a one bedroom apartment and found it to be of a nice size. There was plenty of storage space in the walk-in closet. My only complaint was that my apartment (A-109) didn't have carpet in the living room (it had tile). They do not allow pets, but Jim was nice enough to allow me to keep a rabbit (always caged). This has changed though with new management.
No security issues as far as I know, but parking was difficult at times as there aren't enough spaces for all the residents plus people from the university without parking spaces try to park there, but have been towed before.
I would recommend these apartments for students who aren't concerned with the nicest looking apartments and who need to be close to the university.
