The review directly before this one was obviously a plant from mgmt, (probably Darlene herself!) as it is so favorable towards her.
According to AZ State law, the mgmt has 2 weeks to refund your deposit after move out, if there have been no deductions/holdings against it. This (always improving!!) mgmt, according to the previous reviewer, should have been capable of handling this but fudged on it (oh and did I mention that Darlene herself was involved in the long drawn out process of my attempting to receive my refund'). Only when I presented her with the state law, did she come to attention and manage to 'expedite' things, claiming that the check had not come to my new address [I LEFT IT 3X in the PAST to no avail--suppose it is now the Post Office's fault--oh, but I left a forwarding address as well....]. Another reason this is probably a plant from mgmt is that the items 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 12 in the previous review were not even addressed (i.e., vent not hooked up properly, another violation of the law, but does anyone there care'). As for #11, Waste Management is not responsible for the lousy construction of this complex which allows the noise to infiltrate the apts. every 4:30 am. pickup time. However, the mgrs could _contract_ with them to not pick up before a certain hour. Have they' (Well if you don't mind being awakened and not getting a certain amount of rest, suppose that's irrelevant.)
This is a highly over-priced, under serviced apt. complex with many, many mgmt problems. If you don't want to deal with them, do yourself a huge favor and look elsewhere. I would recommend these apartment ratings as a way to find a quieter complex, for instance, as there are actually mgrs out there who do take complaints seriously (sorry but I had already talked with Darlene about the speeders; she "had a license plate number" and knew about a couple of the speeders a year ago. If you are still dealing with the problem, you are being duped.). Another area you are being duped in is that the pine trees needed to be trimmed to keep them healthy (they were actually horribly lopped which could make them susceptible to an infestation with a fungus or beetles). [Wow, there must be a great demand for tree trimmers in the Northwest and Midwest to keep all those pine trees healthy!!!!]
