I lived at Pinnacle Heights in 2000-2001 and all was great, then came back in 2004. What a mistake. Everyone was nice but when I moved in nothing worked as I was the first to live in the model. No appliance worked and it took two months to be livable. Plus when I came to move in they were just cleaning the carpet! I had to have the mover come back and that cost me! Plus it took 3 days to dry completely.
Then I started getting scorpions. They tried to help but to no avail. Then the management changed and it all went downhill. Trying to help I brought them numerous articles on how to rid the building of scorpions and even had an independant pest control come with recommendations. I believe that they just threw everything in the trash. The porch outside the door had water coming from the ceiling days after it rained and then the plaster fell off three times (they would finally fix it after a month or two)from the water that must have leaked into the roof. Then the air conditioner began to pour water out of the ceiling constantly, for which they sent the maintainance man, but after many attempts he could not fix it.(he was not a professional and they did not go to the expense to obtain the services of one). I put huge buckets to catch the 5-10 gallon daily leak in the hall which was awful to get around as it took up most of the hall. When my lease was up I left, and because they asked me to hurry up and give them the keys, I left them in the key return box on a Friday after I thought everything was out but moving boxes the movers left. They maintain that they did not get them and charged me for the entire weekend that I had them. When I contacted them they said that they would turn me over to a collection agency if I did not pay the 330.00, they claimed I owed for 5 extra days rent and 240.00 for removing the unused moving boxes. I ended up paying it because I wanted no more hassle. But these people are sharks, and do not trust them. The one older lady is nice in the office but she works for the sharks, so beware! I paid my rent at least two weeks early, and told them of many things that needed to be fixed to prevent property damage through out the time I lived there and was helpful in many ways and this is what I got. They care nothing for the property. My car was also damaged by the sprinklers that were never aimed toward the grass. Nothing was EVER done to most things I reported. I lost all my deposit and more, my daughter was stung twice by the scorpions, there were 29 of them in a year's time. I always tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I advise anyone not to go there. It used to be a nice place and I loved it but the people there and the scorpions make it unlivable.
