I was absolutely stunned by all the bad reviews. This is a great apartment. They even have garages available on some apartments, and they are not nearly as hard to come by as with other complexes. The staff is very nice (often remembers me by name)and every problem I have had so far has been fixed the very next day. Also, all the comments about scorpions are unfounded. Although I have yet to see even one single scorpion, I know others have seen one or two here and there, but not the huge numbers that people are talking about. Also, if any of those people did their research on scorpions they would know that comes with the territory of living in the desert, especially the foothills. Also, there is really nothing that can be done to get rid of them except spray for the bugs they like to eat. There are two pools and a 24 hour fitness center, which is pretty nice. This is a great value for the foothills, I got a two bedroom with a garage at a cheaper price than my previous place which had a MUCH smaller kitchen, was more outdated and had no garage. I would definitely reccommend these apartments!
P.S. I am neither deluded nor work for the property, just a satisfied resident.
Since there were many people that complained about all the scorpions, I thought I would do some research for you and post it here.
Somes quotes from various internet sources...
"Daytime spraying is largely ineffective. The most effective scorpion management method is nighttime blacklight collecting."
"I have seen cats catch scorpions - it's really neat to watch. I have also seen one dog just bark at them, and another completely ignore them."
"My opinion is insecticide does NOTHING, waste of money!"
My personal tip, make yourself a blacklight flashlight for use at night during the summer months, this should keep you from getting stung. Also, if you see scorpions in your home, be sure to shake out your shoes and your sheets. You can kill them simply by stepping on them (with shoes of course), catch them in a jar (they can't climb on the glass), or pick them up with a tongs and put them outside.

This person is either deluded or works for the property.

I would completey agree with the first post. I do not have a single complaint about this property at all yet. I think that maybe those posting poor reviews are likely stuck-up and have been pampered too long. This is MUCH better than my previous rental property.
