I dont know where you all were but Portofino is a great place to live!! I moved in during the holiday season. When I came up to the property I noticed how beautiful it was. The office staff was very friendly and the office itself was very welcoming. I encourage everyone to take a tour, come see how it looks! If the office didn't care, the community wouldn't look so beautiful. I have enjoyed living here these last few months and it's pretty quiet. I haven't had any problems. Maybe the other reviewers couldn't pay their rent and now they are sour. Too bad. Portofino is awesome!

Do not DISREGARD or INSINUATE that other's reviews are inaccurate or they "couldn't pay their rent" just because you were fortunate enough to not have the same experience. That doesn't mean other's reviews aren't true! I paid my rent two days before the 1st EVERY MONTH! It still doesn't change the fact that the pool was always closed due to broken beer bottles and other debri being thrown into the pool by gangster wanna-be's! There was a woman shot in one of the apartments while I was renting there, not to mention my apt. was broken into 3 times in a two week period! When I told them about the apts. who were housing these thieves and gangsters they refused to look into it or do anything about it. People would smoke marijuana right outside their apts. and in the pool area without even a care in the world that children were there, I told the office about it when they were doing it and they REFUSED to go to the pool and kick them out. They were JUST AS SCARED as the residence were. There were fist fights at the pool, playground and basketball court that me and my children witnessed. They do keep their grounds looking nice because your children can not even write on the sidewalk with sidewalk chalk w/out you being threatened with a fee or eviction. I am very thankful that we left when we did and I learned from Portofino to look alot more into apartments about their crime rate before moving in for my children's sake.
