Used to live there...Will never live there again...

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008

I used to live in these apartments from 2006-early 2008. When my roommate, myself and boyfriend moved in, it was great. Loved it. Thought it was the best apartment I had ever lived in. Then all of a sudden it changed in a matter of months. Loud, abnoxious people moved in next door, they argued, fought, and were drunk all the time. At night you could hear gang members calling eachother. Loud music, drug deals going on, people smoking pot from their balconies, and with this all going on, its like the managment didn't care who they let live there. It was like, "Oh you need a place to stay' No we don't mind you living here. You smoke crack' You can smoke it here on your new balcony." I didn't like the feeling I was getting there after about 5 months into my lease.

After our lease expired, my roommate moved out, I didn't have the money to get a new place or the time with working two jobs, so i down sized to a 1 bedroom on the other side of the complax. I liked it on the other side, because there was no play ground, less kids. But Right as i moved into that apartment, the a/c didnt work, it was dripping water, the next door neighbor was loud, and more people on that side did drugs then the other people did. And a couple days later went to work, came back to a part of the complex cut off due to a crime scene investigation...Found out that there was a gang related shooting there, and the guy was shot and killed in daylight....WOW. Then the people next door to me wouldn't knock it off with their music. When I told the complex about it, they said they couldn't didn't hear any noise, and that they told the residents who lived in that complex. Thank GOD they moved out the next month. Which of course makes me wonder on wether the complex acutally said anything to them. An as for the A/C i had to have a pot on the floor to catch the water from dripping from the A/C unit, which would fill the pot every single day with water. When i moved into the second apartment, I didn't sign the lease until they fixed it, which took about 3 months for that to happen. Which they only fixed it, because they got tired of me not signing the lease.
My lease wasn't actually going to expire until July of 2008, and I was fine with staying, until one day, during the daytime, I had three people try to break into my car, so I finally said forget it, and left that damn place. Now i'm in a happier place.
PRESIDIO EAST IS TOO NOISY, THE MANAGMENT COULD CARELESS ABOUT YOU, PARENTS DON'T WATCH THEIR KIDS, THEY RUN AROUND AND DAMAGE THINGS. TOO MANY GANG MEMBERS THERE, WHO DEAL, SELL, AND DO DRUGS...NOT TO MENTION THERE WAS A DRUG RAID THERE BACK IN EARLY 2008....DON'T MOVE THERE.......BAD IDEA......MANAGMENT SUCKS......
