Not bad but not great

Promontory is probably one of the better apartment complexes, but for the money, it's not all that. The one bedroom is small; it's like living in a box. Especially for two or more people.
Maintenance is REALLY good around here, but unfortunately we had to call them often to fix various things around the apartment.
Parking is not bad. There's always a place to park, but many of our neighbors have had their cars broken into. A few cars were stolen.
There is a very strict patio clause that you must sign with the lease which basically says that you agree not to leave ANYTHING but nice patio furniture (no camping chairs!). It's kind of ridiculous and you get a certified letter in the mail (that you have to go to the post office and wait for an hour to get) if you violate the clause.
Our place had a lot of problems with mold/mildew under the sink and in the bathroom, so bad that the cauking in the tub would peel up when we cleaned!
The pool areas are nice, with decks that were recently redone, but sometimes the heater in the spas break and it takes a month or two to fix.
They raised the price of the laundry facility without any notice, which was kind of irritating.
Overall, we felt pretty safe living here because of the gates and well lit property, and the complex is in a convenient area to Tucson mall, Walgreens, and Starbucks (all only a few minutes away).
I would recommend living here if you don't mind a small space. lGjq8RUBjvsZjkb5ueji
