If you like speed bumps, this place is paradise. One speed bump in particular, reportedly paid for by a local shock absorber dealer, is arguably the world's most brutal. Speed bumps are commonplace in Tucson, disgustingly so, but Promontory takes the cake with its assortment of those evil devices.

seriously? over speed bumps? lame. FYI 25 mph is maximum for residental areas. I could only see a speed bump causing so much grief if you you're one of the inconsiderate road raged jerks that hog and zoom through the complex like you're the only one on the road.

Dear Miss Anonymous:
Apparently you use only the east driveway. Try the west side driveway some time--you'll see what I mean. The worst speed bump there is so bad that I come to almost a complete stop before rocking my car over it, as does any driver who doesn't want to tear the suspension out from under his car. And 25 mph elsewhere? You must be kidding. (As I trust you are when you suggest that I am an inconsiderate road raged [sic] jerk.")
