Don't believe the lies they feed you when they try to get you to sign the lease!!! Move in and you quickly realize the manager and her staff of drones are sickenly sweet, indifferent to your needs and can't do anything right expect suck in more poor saps who fall for the low prices.

The water is inconsistent and shuts off multiple times a month, clothes are being stolen from the laundry room and the pool and work out rooms are often closed to residents because of vandalism.

But don't even try asking management to put in security cameras, they won't spend the money.

The AC/Heat does not work effectively and maintenance men have to come into your apartment manually switch between heat and cool.

So, cheap rent yes, but still not worth the price.

Truth. Truth. This place is a dump. I am very glad I didn't renew my lease. They offered me a month free, but its not worth it when you can't even shower.

I respect a community that has a pool closed if there is a reason...like my SAFETY!!! If you live somewhere and don't take better pride and help work with a staff then how can you just complain?

I want to be safe as well, that's why I've asked them to istall cameras, but they won't do it. I also have no problem with them locking the pool at night, but they keep it locked to all residents during the day as well. It has been over a week, and the pool area, which also includes access to the fitness room has been locked off. They say it is as punishment for whoever threw the furniture into the pool. This by the way, is vandalism and has nothing to do with resident's safety. Again, another issue that can be resolved with camera surveillance...

I've lived here since 1989. I've lost count of the different owners, let alone individual managers. It was a great place in the early '90s--turned out the company that owned the property used the place as a tax "write off" and didn't spend any money on improvements. Also it was geared toward adult tenants--very few families and no dogs. It was quiet back then ... the high school suddenly added problems with parking and some flats were rented just so kids could go to the new school--on weekends there were keg parties and crime regarding car stereos and first floor break-ins. A gate was added almost ten years ao and many of us renters find it more of a hassle than it's worth. The newest management team is a mixed bag--most requests are greeted with the word "can't"--when the phrase "what we can do" would defuse the situation and make communication a much more pleasant task. two o the items in the plus column are biting the bullet and replacing the entire plumbing system, an expensive and time consuming project. Other posts regarding regular outages of both tape water and ac are true (the ac works on underground water works). Currently the control of the ac and heat is up to he tenant for the first time year round--personally I've never needed the heat in any of the three flats I've lived in--and having ac all year round is a major plus. And I can live with the current water outages as it is being entirely replaced and we can begin to see light at the end of the tunnel. This community is in the county--not within the city of Tucson, though the city is planning on taxing all the rental properties in the surrounding areas. Doesn't sound legal--"taxation without representation!" I was impressed with the current manger's (Jenny) efforts to make sure we knew about the issue and her involvement to fight it--would have been much easier to turn a blind eye. I've had conversations with my immediate neighbors, and on the whole it's still more negative than positive. But, personally I find this to be the best owner in two decades ... just wish they could star a conversation with out saying the word "can't." 'Jenny seems to be taking the preventative approach to maintenance--she just had our roof and gutters redone where in the past we'd have to experience a flood before addressing the task. Money is being spent on upgrade and not just "cosmetics." There are two maintenance techs I'm happy to have--Ron I've known for more than 15 years--he's been rehired with nearly every new owner, and he's worth more than what he probably gets--he knows this property better than anyone else could. Second is Jerod--he's not been here a full year yet but is a keeper. When either gentlemen is assigned a work order for me I'm a happy camper as I know they will do their best and have an up beat cordial attitude and the job will be done right. If they dont know the answer theyll say so and then research it and get back to you--no blowing smoke.... Over all I'd say things are looking up around here. Unlike many previous owners this one is looking to stay and make this a better property. -- JSA
