Nice views but some problems From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/18/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   Lets see...what do I like...The views out of the larger apartments (north-facing) are about the best you'll get in downtown Tucson, with massive balconies. The maintenance guy is great, has lots of personality, and will try his best to help you out. It has a heated pool, but I've never used it. I think the apartments were built in the early 60's...and here's where what I don't like starts: Management has a high turnover. Seems apathetic about noise complaints from tenants regarding other tenants. Yes,there are some college kids living here - but most are quiet. Interior of building - especially the lobby - looks very very dated and cheesy. Not at all classy. The elevators break quite often (6 times in the 15 months I've lived there. The parking inside the gated section is NOT adequate. The trains are NOISY, and are quite clearly heard from the apt. Some neighbors are nice - some downright creepy and are fixtures from 1960. There aren't any W/D hookups (In an $800 APT'!) and the laundry room is too small for 96 units. Overall - I actually do like it here, but I am moving at the end of the year....I guess I don't like it enough.
