I have lived at Rio Cancion for nearly 2 years. The area is beautiful and I love River Walk. But... about 10 of the tiles in front of my front door came off after the rains and maintenance replaced them by using liquid nail which is an adhesive not generally used for tile, not only was it ugly but of course after a month the tiles came off again. The lights or lack of around the basketball court and grass area are never on at night as they once were. Its pitch dark when I walk my dog in the morning before I go to work. There is a big hole in the chain link fence behind the basket ball court. The grass area where I walk my dog is covered in dog droppings, I do clean up after mine. There is a high incidence of vehicle theft and/or vehicle breakins. I have known both from neighbors and my daughter who used to live here had her car broken into, glass broken - stereo removed. When my washing machine drains it causes a tremendous water leak under my apt. and leaks onto a parking stall. I reported it to the office and was told that they were taking care of it. I have seen nothing fixed and worry that the car that parks under the leak will one day have part of the ceiling on top of their car. I also had a water leak from the bathroom sink leaking down the wall at under apt parking about 6 months ago, the wall was cut to expose the pipe but nothing else was done, it still leaks as I can see the water as it comes out from the wall onto the parking floor.
