Not worth the effort

I have lived here for over a year now and am chosing to leave. The management turnovers have become increasingly frustrating. When I moved in the management was friendly and knew everyone by name. Now there is no consistancy among staff. Additionally the office is closed frequently and it is difficult to arrange to speak to management. The office is in continual construction and the furnishings and office layout change monthly. I have never had any request for maintence addressed. The grounds have been unkempt recently and the amount of furniture littering the parking lot is quite irritating. I have been unable to use the small fitness center due to lack of lighting in the evening, though I have left messages for the management regarding this issue. The gate on the pool is broken, no key is required, but there is a lock that requires manipulation for relase. The laundry facilities are below standard and often embarassingly filthy. The lighting in the parking lot is very poor and the security lights do not illuminate the parking lot appropriatly. The lighting often shuts off before the interior of the community is reached. Again, I have left messages for the management regarding this issue and I have not recieved any feedback from them. Finally I believe the recent rent hikes are out of proportion to other housing in this area at this time. I would not recommend this community until some consistancy can be achieved.
