RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!!!!

Moving to River Point could be one of the biggest mistakes you make in your life! When I moved in the staff was really nice and welcomed me. I asked for a furnished apartment and when I arrived, all the furniture was in a pile in the living room. It was horrible. I had been driving for 3 days and now I had to move heavy furniture.
After about a month everyones true colors started to show. I had met my boyfriend in the complex and one of the staff members I guess had had her eye on him and from there forward I was screwed over. It was no longer business, it was all personal. None of my complaints were ever taken care of and she wrote out false complaints from "other tenants" (who she made up). Even the other staff members in the office were rude.
The laundry facility is awful! They often break down and no one puts up "Out of order" signs to let you know and then by that time the machine has already taken your money (which the office does not refund). Clothes are stolen often and sometimes your clothing is bleached without your knowledge b/c someone put it in the machine before you and never washed anything. At other times you find that one person is using all the machines b/c they are washing items from there place of work. Also, the machines use cards to operate which you put money on from a machine in the office. It's $1.75 for a wash and a dry, but the machine only takes $5, $10, and $20 at a time.
The only positive to this complex is the maintenance guy. He is the sweetest man you could ever meet.
There is no covered parking, not enough lighting in the lot, and no security cameras. Cars are stolen and broken into on a constant basis. The TPD is here at least once a week on a drug bust or to report a stolen vehicle. Most of the appliances are the originals from when the apartments were first built so the break constantly (or back-up) and it takes a very long time for these things to be replaced b/c of ordering and the maintenance guy is over-worked. I wish I would have looked at a ratings website like this before moving here. My lease is finally up and I am getting the F*** out of here!
If you like your sanity and you want to live in a nice place where you are treated like a respectable person, and you respect yourself do not move here! uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
