Still not sure but...

Update 09/20/09- Some of the people here seem to think that they are the center of the universe. They bang on your wall or ceiling ANY DAY ANY TIME OF THE WEEK (including friday/saturday mid-afternoon etc.) for playing DECENT music and then you get to hear them stomping on the ceiling or getting it on (and I've not had an issue with these things in the past, mainly the latter, because I am aware that other people need to live and breathe). It may also be worth noting that they do not seem to get mad when I play netflix movies at equal volume (and I can hear their t.v./movies at times as well). Interesting, so the crap on television is okay as entertainment, but music is not (especially when music is a passion and something that helps ME get through the day, not just getting it on etc.) Don't have the balls to come knock on your door and explain their situation either (work/sleep hours etc.) And apparently I am the rude one...
The new management is good, but sorry I have to lower my rating due to this crap.
...
For quite some time I really wanted to move out of this place. My downstairs neighbors were creepy and I was very unpleased with management. They were nice and all, but just seemed to not know what the hell they were doing or how to run a place...
However, things have recently been starting to look up. There have been some positive changes in management (at least from what I can see so far) and the creepy neighbors have gone and been replaced by a family who pretty much minds to their own business which is a-okay with me. The walls are on the thin side as you can easily hear "certain" things your neighbors are doing from certain rooms in the house, but I've experienced thinner walls in the past.
The work-out room sucks. It's alright if you just want to do some leg weight lifts, but the treadmill and various other machines do not work. There is also a sauna which I was told by a neighbor worked before, but I've never been able to get it to work.
The complex seems a little cramped too and could be more spacious. I really don't like the "porch", which to me isn't really a porch as it's not enclosed, and debris from the rain gets all over the place, which is quite unattractive...However, I've noticed other apartments in the community that do have enclosed porches which are debris free (honestly wasn't my choice of an apartment, but my roommates which I did not see before moving here to Tucson).
I'm not too wild about the landscape choices or the overall appearance of the place, but it is new and clean looking.
All in all, there have been no major problems here, other than the bad neighbors who are now, thankfully, gone.
Also, the A/C works just fine. If there is ever any sort of problem in the apartment, maintenance is pretty quick to come and fix it.
Also, just an update: I initially put that I would not recommend River Point simply because it's not a place I'd run out and tell my friends, "Wow, these are such great apartments, you should live here!!!" It's definitely not my first choice for an apartment, but for its price I'd say its pretty good, decent. I'm still looking to move out later this year/next year, but depending on what one is looking for, it's not bad. I wouldn't recommend it, but I wouldn't completely not recommend it either. It's neutral for me. SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV
