Sahara Apartments

A Wonderful Place to Live From: kelly764 Date posted: 7/3/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   I lived in Sahara Apartments for the month of June while taking an intensive summer course at the U of A; Sahara and all the folks who work there made it incredibly easy and comfortable to come into town for a month and then leave again. They were accomodating in every way possible, helped me figure out all sorts of details, drove me to school every day and picked me up in the afternoons in their shuttle, gave me advice and directions whenever I needed to find anything (grocery stores, bookstores, etc). I'm not from Tucson and their friendliness and willingness to interact, advise, and chat was helpful, and made Sahara feel like home for a mont. Parking was easy and safe, I felt secure, the pool was a wonderful bonus, the exercise room and mini movie theatre were wonderful, and the coffeeshop on teh premises is great. Most of all, I can't say enough about the staff--they are truly wonderful, tyruly interested in getting to know people and making sure you are comfortable and well taken care of. Two thumbs up!
