Stayed here for 3 months on a temporary lease from mid Jan. to Mar. At this time there were in the process of condo conversion.
The GOOD:
Complex is nicely kept and each unit has a nice size. I stayed in a 2bed/2bath unit. It??s close to Sabino Canyon, Mount Lemmon, and has great mountain views. Not in a busy area also, so it??s private.
The BAD:
The bad is that I see other reviewers saying that it's close to shopping and other things. In my opinion, it's not. You have a grocery store across the street, ice cream shop, and other smaller stores.....that's it. Prices are a little more expensive at these places too. Also, I didn't see any shopping around here either. To get back down the part of town that has more gets to offer takes about 10 to 15 min. depending on whose driving in front of you. It??s really frustrating when driving to work in the morning or any other time and someone in front of you takes their precious little time. After taking this route, you still have about 30 more min. to drive. Coming back is worse. If you work in the Southern or Eastern part of Tucson, this is still the fastest way to go. It really is what you view close as being. 5min. or 15min' I can get to the airport area, which as were most people work, in less than 20 from any other area, except for this one. I find the Northeast, East area way more convenient, although rather busier. You are about 30min from the highway, 20min for the better malls, 10min from the closest (more expensive) mall. Also, the prices of the condos were a little high, 200K for 944sq ft. They must didn??t sale as well because they renewed a few leases for some tenants for about $50 more a month. Also, every week or so javelinas come on property, which can be an uncomfortable experience for those not familiar with them.
