Okay for a rental, but nothing great.

We have lived at Sand Pebble for about a year. It has been okay, and we will stay a while longer until we buy a house, but you can do better. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is great (and for us, worth the higher rent) but it is the only appliance we have that was made after 1985. Our dishwasher does not work correctly, our fridge runs hot and our hot water heater does not heat enough water for a bath. We live on the second floor and it is HOT in our apartment. We are close to having to turn our A/C on and it is MARCH. Our apartment is not well insullated, the windows are cheap and we can see light coming in around our front door. I can hear all of the noise in the parking lot, so I am not surprised that none of the cold air is staying in my unit. The cabinets and carpet are cheap and old. Nothing that justifies almost 600 bucks a month.
The security is really sketchy. The tires were stolen off of my bike right outside of my apartment and after moving it up to my patio (which has stairs that only lead to my front door) the whole bike was stolen. I have never seen security guards or police.
The trash over flows in our dumpsters every week and there is no access to recycling.
Overall, Sand Pebble is okay for a rental, but the rent is really too high for what you get. They are cashing in on a good location. I have to say that I would not move here again.
