It's alright.

I have lived in this apartment complex for almost one year. It's not too bad. The rent is a little steep, but over all I guess it was slightly justifiable. Thick wall construction, I barely heard my neighbors. I think that it is a beautiful complex, the landscaping is done well. It's very green, which is a bonus for Arizona. If you have pets, it's pretty expensive since you have to pay a pet deposit and a monthly pet rent. There are a lot of families that live in this complex, so therefore there are a lot of kids playing outside.
It is a gated community and there have been efforts to keep it as such. However, there are frequent periods when other residents will prop open the gates and defeat this purpose. I suppose it would help if the office updated the guest entry gate, which has been out of order since I moved in last year. There should be more lighting in the parking lots and walkways. There is security sporadically, sometimes they are there and sometimes they are not. The area is the Amphi district, near a police substation and not really a "high-class" part of town (kinda shady area). It is very close to the Tucson Mall, Walmart, grocery stores and Target (definite plus).
Overall, if you can fork out the dough, it's not too terribly bad. BuLYzGcKAVo8MQPlcXJq
