But, don't do it!! Young couples might be tempted to live here because of its security and other features, but don't do it.

People move out within a year, especially these young couples.

Every couple we knew that lived there with us all moved out within a year.

Granted, if you're going to live in that neighborhood, that's probably the best, but don't live in that neighborhood!
Cons:
Tons and tons of little Hispanic kids running around all the time.

The tool is rarely not jam-packed with tons of little kids.

I can't say this is a bad thing, but it was really hard for my wife and I to get exercise when this was the case.
The exercise room is a joke.

The bike and eliptical were both broken and NEVER worked properly.

Our car was stolen from there, and that isn't an uncommon occurrence in that part of town.

I guess with the gate, it would be slightly more difficult, but I would take the risk.

My buddy's motorbike got stolen from there too.

There was a pretty consistent stream of nights where there were a ridiculous amount of cops either blocking entrances or searching for someone within the complex.

I'm sure the new management is going to be better about not renting to criminals or letting criminals living there, but it's a hard part of town.

The complex is huge and therefore the personal service aspect isn't quite what it could be.

The office was usually kind under the new management, but I don't recommend even trying it.

Pros:
The maintenance staff was pretty good and on top of things (with the exception of the pool, which is broken and closed more often than not).

They were very quick to fix things around the house.

Tons and Tons of free covered parking (at least when I was where, I could be wrong with the new management).

We could pretty much have as many cars as we wanted and always found a covered spot for them.

Overall, choose a different part of town or go a little farther north.

It will be much safer!
