Not worth the money.

Ok. Here goes. To start with something positive, the apartments themselves are fairly decent looking, and it is nice to have a washer/dryer. In addition, the grounds look fairly decent.

The problems: one of the main problems is that the buildings are not maintained well. There are constant plumbing problems to the point that some tenants have had to move because there was so much water damage. The roofs are not maintained properly either. There is evidence that leaks and holes are shabbily covered with paint and not taken care of properly.

The turnaround time for resolving maintainance issues is spotty....sometimes it's reasonable; sometimes it takes days to get a problem fixed.

The swimming pool is not always cleaned properly, and the jacuzzi has NEVER been heated properly. The temperature should be around 104 degrees for therapeutic purposes and to kill bacteria. Lights are not replaced regularly, so the pool and jacuzzi are often dark at night. The 24-hour pool and jacuzzi aren't quite as appealing without the lights!

The "indoor driving range" is a joke. Looks horrible!

The "exercise room" has substandard machines and not all are working. The room is very small. Most people I know don't even bother with it because gyms are far superior.

The lights on the tennis court have not worked for over a year....when they finally were "fixed" they shone into people's apartments and had to be disconnected. The problem has never been corrected. Obviously, the lights are not one of the complex's concerns.

Another problem is that the apartments are more expensive than in several complexes in the area. In addition to the high expense, there is a ridiculously high charge if rent is paid late. Since rent is due by the 3rd of each month, if one pays rent on the 4th, there is a 50$ charge and a $10 charge for each day thereafter. Even if you only forget rent ONCE, there is no leeway given.

Enough for now!
