I've lived at Sonterra for a year and a half. During this time I have had one car stolen from here, due to lack of maintence of gates, and one car broken into. This is due to NO SECURITY!!! We pay so much in rent and they can't afford to hire a security guard. Not to mention, the camera's and little office, where a security guard is supposed to be at the front entrance of the complex is supposed to be, is FAKE. I have also experienced the rude and unhelpful staff. They don't care about the people living here. At one point, when I was traveling in through the gates, the gate closed on me and left a huge scratch on my car. I immediately told the staff, in which no one would help me. I explained to them that there is pressure sensor located in the groud to sense the car's, which they totally denied, and refused to help me pay for my car repairs. Parking is also a huge problem. There is not enough spaces for everyone and you would think that since you pay such high rent that they would include a cover parking...nope..$15 bucks extra month. Not to mention, I also had the same problem with the laundry mat. They did not tell me that they were going to take it out until one day I walked down there to do laundry and all the washers and driers were gone. Forcing me to pay over $1000 to get a set of washer and drier. Please! Try to find another space to live! Also they raise rent every year...its very expensive. And I too have experienced the thin walls. I can hear every phone ring and conversation from the person living next to me and below me.
