I lived at Sonterra from 6/1/00 to 8/30/01. The best move I made was moving out of there.
In the beginning, my first complaints were the leaking ceilings. (We lived on the 3rd floor). We moved in as the Arizona monsoon season started. The ceilings leaked and we had buckets everywhere. When I would call emergency maintenance, they always told me "We have to wait for everything to dry, then we'll come fix it." If you don't already know this, the monsoon season lasts for a couple of months. Anyhow, it was never fixed.
Second, the walls are VERY thin. Hell, I was able to hear our nieghbor snore thats how thin they were.
At last, my final straw with this hell hole, about 2 weeks after we gave our 30 day notice, the bonehead manager send a guy up to my apartment in the middle of the day to install a washer & dryer. I just happened to be home that day sick. He knocks, then uses a key and walks right in as I was coming out of my bedroom 1/2 dressed. The guy just stood there as I put my clothes. When I called my husband home from work, we approached the manager with this incident, and all he said was sorry. In this case, an appology was not enough. He "paid" for this one.
And one more thing, Sonterra is way over priced. Sure, it looks nice during the walk through and from outside, but once you're in there, it's "GHETTO".
