Good: -Apartments are very nice looking compared to many others (and I've seen a few). -The location is awesome! Very centric and close to very convenient stores (OfficeMax, Circuit City, Best Buy, Walgreens, a few restaurants...); not to mention, Park Place Mall! -Gated entrance (giving you that great false sense of secutrity) -Good staff (they really helped me out)
Bad: -You have to pay for every freakin' thing. There is a nice full-size washer and dryer in unit, but you are actually paying like $25 a month for it (they just include it in the rent w/o letting you know). -You can choose either a Satelite provider (like Dish or DirecTV), or some crappy regular cable service that is way over-priced. However, if you opt for the satelite, you have to pay a $150 deposit to the apartment(what the hell for''!!). -The only high-speed internet you can have is DSL from Qwest, which is also over-priced. I know people who pay less for a much faster cable high-speed service. This really pisses me off! -The parking situation is absurd. In every apartment I looked, they had a covered parking for all residents. Here you have to pay $15 a month for a covered parking which may or may not be close to your apartment. -Finally, the thing about the walls being thin... I can understand we live in apartments, but you can't even think too hard cause the neighbors will probably hear it. I should, at least be able to listen to music at a reasonable volume w/o bothering anybody. I literally heard an entire conversation (not on purpose); besides being annoying, it damn well feels like an invasion of privacy.
Bottom line: Great location, nice looking apartments and surroundings, good staff; few bad things, but they really tick me off!
