Not bad as long as you're quiet.

The only problem I had was towards the end of my year and half stay I apparently pissed off one of my neighbors and she seemed to complain about any noise she heard coming from my apartment. Bummer. But that doesn't really have anything to do with the complex as a whole. I'd say as long as you're quiet, reasonably considerate, and keep to yourself you shouldn't have any problems. The tenates seem to consist of elderly people, single professionals, and some young couples/students. I don't recall any loud parties or anything. I only saw like 1 kid there, so if you don't like kids, this will probably work for you. As far as crime goes someone broke into the little laundry room and took all the change from the washers and dryers. But it at least prompted the purchase of new ones, which in my opinion, was needed. In fact, they still could use a few MORE washers/dryers in there. Also some guy in APT 1129(') tried to commit suicide by shooting himself in the chest. Too bad; he lived. So avoid that apt if you're superstitious. I only had 2 minor maintence issues and they were resolved in a timely manner. The maintence guy and his wife are damn good at what they do and take good care of the complex. The BIGGEST complaint was the AC/Heater "Switcher" system. Every 6 months they switch from A/C to Heat and visa-versa. You can't run the A/C if the complex is on "Heater Mode" which is retarded. In other words, if it's a real hot day in March, which is a reality in Tucson, you might be stuck with just ceiling fans to keep the house cool. That, and if the manager/owner didn't jack my rent up $20 every time I signed a new lease I'd probably still be there. Also more traffic noise from Campbell than I expected but it was bearable. I think that about covers it. It's definately one of the better places in Tucson, though.
