I'd give it a C -

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2009
Pros:I liked the fact that it was right by a bus stop to get to the UofA campus, I felt that you got more square footage for the price of other apartments. Maintenance guys were always nice to me, and usually fixed things the same day (if I put the request in early enough). I never had a problem with management, they were nice to me as well.
Cons:These apartments are pretty old, I think some units had a few updated items (like cabinets), but that's about it. I've heard people complain about roaches, I found 2 in my apartment (2nd floor) in the whole year I lived there (gross!) but there were other bugs that I kept finding that looked like part of the silverfish variety. Some nights I did not feel safe walking to my apartment, lots of people partying, drinking and acting crazy (one guy was peeing in the parking lot!!) Police activity was common. I remember walking out of my apartment and seeing police with guns drawn at an apartment next to mine! The side gate was always open (it had no handle on it). I heard lot of scary conversations from people outside threatening to kill or hurt someone! The only reason I decided to move here was because I knew 3 other people from my school in the same complex. But after awhile, I knew I would not be renewing my lease, by the end of the school year, I saw a lot of people moving out at that time, and I was one of them. I wouldn't recommend this place to a young single female like myself.
