Yikes, Liked living there. Screwed when leaving.

Overall I had a good experience during my time at summerlinn Villas. I had picked an apartement in a corner of the complex where parking was good and there was little traffic. Neighbors were quiet and any repairs were quick to be made.
Here is where the good ends. I had two major problems with them. First, my truck was broken into. Apparently this was an incident where 6 automobiles in the complex were all broken into during one night. This is especially weird considering how the neigborhood seems nice.
The next problem I had was during my moveout. First off, the office personal told me that the apartment only had to be relatively clean as a maid service would be coming and cleaning the apartment. Furthur someone would be coming to paint all of the walls. I didn't want to risk losing even a penny of my $250 security deposit so I cleaning and scrubed for two days. The apartment was absolutely pristine when I left, far more than the office described it needing to be.
Summerlinn refused to do a weekend walkthrough of the apartment and offered to do it on monday after I had left town. Much to my dismay I recieved a bill stating that they had taken my $250 deposit and owed them $140.
This apartment complex is two faced. It seems nice until they are required to do anything, then they screw you for the fun of it.
There are plenty of apartments that are better located, better priced and with better management. DO NOT LIVE IN THIS COMPLEX.
