We lived in the complex for 2 years. We turned in the keys when they were due and were told not to worry about the check list they do to see if damage was done to the apt/etc. I gave them my forwarding address and my phone was the same because we were just moving across town.

Six months later we received a call from a collection agency that we had a past due account with Sundown for turning the keys in late and a cleaning bill ($2 to clean each mirror, etc, etc). I didn't mind the fact that there were charges - we lived there for 2 years so it's to be expected that we couldn't leave it spotless - but the mgmt did not ONCE call us, write us or attempt to contact us. When I called management to ask why I had to hear this from a collection agency (which will now be reflected on my credit report) I got the run around from office staff and the head manager NEVER called me back.

DO NOT MOVE HERE - there are much better places to live in Tucson/Oro Valley area.
