I've lived at Tanglewood Apartments for the past 3 years and I also read the reviews first. Some scared me, so I decided to come on the property earlier than my appointment to view the apartments and spoke to a few ladies my age (60s) near the mailboxes, who live here and have for years. They said they haven't had any problems and liked it here. I rented an apartment and have never been sorry. I have great neighbors, quiet and respectful. Management here is wonderful and friendly, and takes care of anything that arises needing handling. Maintenance is trustworthy and I have no fears of letting them come in to do repairs while I'm at work. I have never had a problem here or been afraid for my safety. Are there any people living here I wouldn't want to associate with...of course. There are a few people in most complexes I wouldn't want to associate with. You learn to stay away from those people, but just say hello when you see them without feeling the need to start a friendship or visit. If you are a law-abiding citizen who minds your own business and is quiet, then this is a wonderful place to live and feel safe.
