Over 2 years with no problems...

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005
I've lived at Tanque Verde over 2 years now, and I've never had problems. Staff are extremely nice and courteous and prompt about responding to any issues. When I moved in, I noticed a kitchen drawer was broken. I reported it and it was fixed the next day. The lawns and trees are nice, although the complex is starting to show some age. I wish they'd re-stucco and paint everything fresh, in a different color scheme than the weird salmon and green. But its nice not having to worry about most utilities as they're covered in the rent. Tanque Verde does have a shared heat/ac system which means if there's a hot day in Novemeber, too bad--you're stuck with heat til they switch to ac in the spring. Also the place can be a little noisy with dogs. They seem to need to turn the water off a lot to fix pipes. But the maintenance staff do really good work and the office staff are always super nice and helpful. All in all, its been a good place to live.
