Tanque Verde

 

I moved into The Tanque Verde Apartments in 2004.

I was told by a certain staff member that I would be able to pay $8000 flat amount plus my $200 pet deposit for a 1 year lease.

(Residents of 2004-2005, remember when the parking lot got paved...

Stating to me that i would never owe them money unless i sign another lease.

During that year i had mad numerous calls to them about the mold problem, and general maintenance issues..

did they get fixed' NO! A month before my lease was up i found a letter on my door stating that i not only owed them over $700 in back rent but that i had 7 days to pay it or be out!!! (it gets better) When i went to the office to let them know that there was a mistake, that i had paid at the beginning of the year, the woman in the office told me that she would print out the ledger and we would go over it to see where the mistake was.

She explained to me that the management company had brought in a new software program to help them keep track of the payments.

I waited...

and waited until almost a week later, two days before the amount was due, the apartment manager at the time, told me that there was no mistake that it was correct.

I immediately brought this staff members name and as soon as started on my next word, she cuts me off to say that that person no longer worked for Paul Ash and that no such agreement for a 1 year lease for $8000 was ever run by her and that it was amazing how i could come up with a "story" like that.

I was pissed.

After a long dispute, i got screwed.

I paid the "back-rent" as she so called it and got the hell outta dodge.

Not done yet...

Two months goes by, I'm settled into my new place, i get a letter from Paul Ash- hole saying i owed some $600 for damages caused by a feature thats comes free with every unit...

BLACK MOLD!!!!!
FYI bleach doesnt work on everything...
