Every place has it's quirks, but this is actually a pretty good complex

I've lived here a year and a half now...In that time I had my car broken into which cost a pretty penny since the idiots stripped my ignition out and broke the door.

My tennis shoes were stolen by the complex's plumber (I know it was him because they were set outside my door every day for 6 months and magically disappeared the day someone besides my neighbors entered the hallyway).

Air conditioning has been out sporadically through the summer season (these units heat up pretty quickly).

Every week there seems to be a major construction/digging project because of hot water issues.

Those have been my biggest complaints thus far....

and if those are my BIGGEST complaints, then there's really nothing to complain about.

This complex has over 400 units.

Mangement, some staff, and maintenance live on-site- which is great as far as I'm concerned, because any complaint we have-- they're dealing with the same thing.

I can walk around this complex at 2 and 3 in the morning without getting shot or robbed.

There is night security 5 days a week, patrolling the complex.

I've never had anyone break into my apartment.

I don't need bars on my window.

It's location is prime-- only a couple minutes from Fry's, Safeway, Petco, Wal-Mart, Lowes, Blockbuster, Big Lots, the car wash, Sonic, Jack in the Box, Jamba Juice, KFC, Dairy Queen, Kinkos, Gelato, Walgreens, Magpies, Wells Fargo, Pima Community Campus, etc...

Few other complexes are as conveniently located for this price.

If I was paying $1,000 a month for this place (like our surrounding neighborhood apartment dwellers are) then I would say this isn't up to 'standards'.

But for $600 a month, I'm in a SAFE area, it's clean, it's nice, and it's convenient.

Some of the complexes by the University are comparable to drug motels.

We get the best value for our dollar here.

As for the cops...yeah they're here a lot.

But who can honestly say that after a long day of work- they don't find it somewhat entertaining to watch the latest drama' It's usually a domestic violence situation-- it's not like SWAT is kicking down doors and bullets are flying.

...Might I also add, there are 5 laundry rooms (I've never waited for a washer here), tennis courts, basketball courts, quasi-movie theatre, pool table, fitness center, 2 swimming pools, grills galore, 2 water dispensing machines...
