My roomate and I just moved here...

got sucked in by the great move in specials...1st we were given one move in date, then they called back to tell us we couldn't move in then, when we went to sign the lease (BIG MISTAKE) and pick up the keys she said she couldn't find them and would have to drop them off for us somewhere after she found them (shady!), I wondered why we still hadn't gotten mailbox keys 2 wks after we moved in..turns out noone ever gave us our welcome packet with all the information we needed to get keys to the laundry room, mailbox etc, my roomate asked about setting up the electricity account and was told that they would set up the electric account but when I got the welcome packet I was asked why we hadn't done that yet, I've found 2 huuge roaches so far, my roomate has had a leak under her sink for 4 days that's causing some mold to grow - even though they said they'd fix it on day one, there are creepers living all over the complex who harrass you when you walk by - we even got a notice of an "altercation" that had taken place in our parking lot! And finally, none of the switches that are supposed to control the outlets do anything so you have to fumble around inthe dark to find a lamp.

We've lived here for 2 weeks and all this has happened- needsless to say- we're going to try to break the lease!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
