I have lived here for over 5 years and I have seen this place taken over by many different management companies. In the past we had high crime ratings, with numerous drug encounters and heavy traffic late at night...I considered moving, but since early 2008 it has been a wonderful place to call home! I am definetly very comftorable to be out after dark, and just purchased a new vehicle that I am not afraid to park in the parking lot. I am really impressed with the way the community has really turned around, and am taken aback by the last posting to Tanque Verde which is why I decided to write mine. Tanque Verde has had a bad rap in the past, but is a beautiful and safe community for anyone looking for a great deal on a large beautiful apartment.
