Spacious but kind of ghetto.

The square feet for the three bedroom, two bathroom apartment was pretty good. Each bedroom has a seperate entrance door going out onto the sidewalk or courtyard for privacy and quiet. The kitchen was large with plastic flooring tiles.

There were no plumbing fixture problems, nor any problems with the A/C or heat. The apartment did not come with a washer or dryer or a dishwasher.

The landlords were friendly and fixed things upon request. We had a few problems with ridiculously high utility bills, however. $320 a month is just not acceptable, nor is it realistic. However, the bill was negotiated.

The surrounding neighborhood is generally not very safe, but far from an "inner city" atmosphere. Our tenents and other neighbors often had raucous parties. The cops were constantly in the area. If you're looking for a quiet, serene apartment complex, this is NOT the place for you!

The pool was generally well-kept, although after parties you could often find beer bottles and t-shirts floating about. Cats are allowed if you pay a deposit.

Note: Our car was stolen from the Block House parking lot. It was never recovered. No one saw anything. All doors were secured and locked.
