Basically the security, noiselevel, and quality are all very bad. But if you can keep a humorous outlook, this can be a very fun place to live. I wouldnt recommend moving here with any car model made after '90, else it will probably get broken into. On the Brightside I'm able to park my truck 2 feet away from my door, on the otherside I have to park it there so I can keep an eye on it. Insects-wise, it isnt too bad, besides the occastional cockroach most of the bugs are relativly small. The furniture is.. well absolute crap. I bought my own desk, my dresser is falling apart, the fridge's shelves were falling out and we ended up with the smallest entertainment center ever, but with alittle duct tape and effort and most of these problems can be solved. Not to mention the beds are very nice and big. Closets are an ok size, but the doors are falling apart. The walls are very thin, and the vents will transfer whatever sound that the walls will muffle. So hopefully your roomates and neighbors are quiet. The swimming pool seems ok, but I've never had a chance to use it since all the kids from the surrounding neighborhood use it also. About half the machines work in the laundry facilities. And the rec. rooms dont exist. The high score I gave to management actually has nothing to do with the manager, she was a horrible, horrible person. The leasing consultant was actually very good at her job, she was also a tendent, and was always around so we could bug her with questions. So if you are planning on moving in, hopefully she's still here, else dont bother moving in. Security-wise, the apartment complex isnt quite in the ghetto, the ghetto is right across the street though. I have witnessed a few drug busts and a few gang fights, but as long as you stay out of the way, you wont be in any real danger. The "security patrol", umm leaves something to be desired. As of the moment, it is one old man walking around with a squirt gun in his holster (not kidding) who will run before he will ever do anything to protect. The neighbors for the most part are very nice, I have become very good friends with many of the tedents. The "free high-speed internet" does not exist. The roomate matching very often doesn't work out, especially if it is the manager who does it. Some of my friends have roomates that dont even speak the same language. Overall, if all you just really need and a place to store your stuff and sleep, then this place will do. I'm sure there has to be worse places out there.
