conversion is cause to break lease sure but....

How to stop the conversion from proceeding during the lease, specific performance, is the real question or was.
I mean how are we to find a rental home, a year to year place to call home, at any price, subject to it continuing to be in our interest to live there, which is what rental is supposed to be about, if such hostile, by definition, takeovers remain legal'
Although the rental tax was voted down, we have to ask, did our landlords fearing it's future passsage jump ship' ANd does our community really benefit from this place being unable to be taxed in such fashion ever in the future' Clearly it doesn't!
Rather allowing owners to move in creates teh problems of such low quality, uninsulated for example, without the potentially redeeming aspects, like only people who wanted to live there relatively recently remaining, everyone paying about the same to live there, and no one having more then a month and a half having been required from them to move in!
Locally this practice is new, and let's hope we can nip it in the bud before all the half decent rentals are lost and those who take them are not available to help us have even better homes be built! 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
