It's always messy when there is a condo conversion going on at an apartment complex and the Greens is a textbook example of that. Rental office staff are terrific, but the homeowner's association balks at any repair or improvement; if you tour here, visit the gym to see an example. Owners pay HOA of over $200 a month, so you would expect some fabulous gym equipment - as well as working A/C. But don't bet on it. Appliances are ancient and have to basically explode to be replaced. Electricity bills are huge because the windows & doors are very badly sealed (this is a 20 year old development) and many bugs, including scorpions, get inside as a result. And the walls are paper thin, so be careful where you rent - if the building is full of kids, you'll here every thump and flush of the toilet. The views are great, and it's a shame they can't do something to improve living conditions here. Rent here if you can't find anything else, but do NOT buy a condo here.
