Fun place, but management sucks

OK, so I lived here a long time ago, but I am apartment searching currently and thought I'd add a review about this place. So let me start out by saying when we moved in, there were holes in the walls...so many that I was convinced there were frequent beatings going during the previous tenants stay. Secondly, the office staff lost my lease and tried to charge me a higher price than I signed up for. I did not allow that and ended up getting an even lower price than originally. Maintenance was a pain in the ass and didn't fix our door when we requested, but we didn't care to follow up.
What was good about the apartment was that cable (tv and internet) was included in the rent. Oh ya, and my roommate and I lived in a 4 bed/4bath place, which we had all to our selves. The place had a washer/dryer in the unit which is nice, a gym, and a nice pool. Although once when we wanted to go swimming and there was a chicken drumstick I think in the pool...to be expected in a college apartment. So overall, the management sucks. If you can handle that and you aren't too high maintenance, it is live-able for a year, especially if a bunch of your friends live there too.
