New management is inept, new maintenance staff is slow...

This is supposed to be a "gated community", yet the gates are ALWAYS broken letting any crum-bum from off the streets walk right in if they want. My friend's car was broken into which I am sure is a result of this because we've had no prior problems. The landscapers are jerks. I feel like they purposely blow all the leaves onto our porch (i've watched them do it) and I've complained twice to HSL. They didn't care. The drink machine in the laundry room has been broken into twice. (real safe neighborhood...) The hot tub and the secondary pool are always being repaired. The appliances in the kitchen are straight out of the 80's. When I moved in, the apartment just felt dirty and then I found a huge black hairball on the bathroom wall and an old sponge on the top of the ceiling fan. Come on, that is so disgusting. The equipment in the gym is crap - it is either outdated or broken. There are never enough parking spaces (your guests have to walk a mile). Nobody knows how to clean up their dogs crap, so it always stinks in some places. The management used to enforce the rule about cleaning up after your dog, but they don't anymore, so nobody does it. The new office staff does not know what they are doing. The new maintenance staff is so slow. I had a hole in my ceiling during monsoon season and I called the "emergency maintenance" people and it took them 2 days to come and look at it. Other than all of that, the apartments are pretty quiet and the landscaping is nice.

This person has no idea. The gates work fine and why are they submitting a review in January of 2007 if they only lived here till 2006? All the pools and spas work, and it is better to have things being fixed/ repaired than ignored like most apartment properties do.
