Scamming Past-Renters & Very Bad Deal

Basically, the company is trying to charge us a lot of money for repairs they failed to provide (and services they demanded we perform to the apartment which were not on our lease) while we lived there. They did not responded to any of my requests for a move-out walk through, repair orders, or notification of assignment of the charge to a debt collection agency. They don't have any of the paperwork I submitted while there (including ones detailing walk-through, repair requests or move-in checklist) and they really don't seem to care that they are not following their legal obligations. I have spoken to other past-renters who had similar problems. P.S. These are OK apartments they are trying to make into condos: but they're still just apartments with fresh paint. We left to buy a HOUSE in a better neighborhood for LESS than what they charge for the condo (apartment)!!!!
