If you're WHITE, don't move here! I had to move to Tucson for the summer so I could work for a company located a couple of miles from here.

My first obstacle was getting the office staff to mail, fax, or e-mail me an application. I called at least 5 TIMES - gave them my address and phone number 5 TIMES!!! The office staff is RUDE RUDE RUDE!!! From the time I spoke with them on the phone to the time I moved in. They freaked out on me the first day I moved in for parking my UHAUL in the Visitor's spot!

Finally, I tracked down the manager Brenda or Barbara and explained that I was in need of an apartment ASAP, so she FINALLY sent me an application on the 6th try! Although, she was not at all apologetic. Then it occurred to me I was clearly being discriminated against from the get go because I didn't speak their native tongue or have a last name that ended in EZ! Is this America or Mexico'

Anyway, so I'm here now, but only for a few more weeks - thank GOD!! With the exception of one elderly white couple, I am the only white person here. They might as well make this area part of Mexico. No one speaks English and everyone looks at you as if you're invading their territory. Not a single person has acknowledged me.

Besides the race factor, the apartment itself is old and probably held together by superglue. The fixtures are Dollar Store quality, the kitchen sink leaks, the neighbors are nosy (peering around their balconies to look into your windows), there is NO MICROWAVE (WHAT'''), the power bill is near the $100 range for a ONE BEDROOM(which means the apartment is poorly insulated), there's the gratuitous LOUD thumping of stereos driving by, and professional dumpster divers!!

The area that surrounds this place is junky, unkempt, and lacking of anything fun! I don't know where the positive reviews of this place are coming from, most likely from the office staff.

In my opinion, the rent is too high here for the quality and location. I'd look elsewhere if you want my advice.
